At Step by Step Academy, we believe every child with autism can make meaningful progress with the right support. Our mission is to provide high-quality, individualized ABA therapy that helps children develop communication, independence, and social skills — while keeping families informed and empowered every step of the way.

We are fully bilingual in English and Spanish, because we believe every parent deserves to understand their child's treatment in the language they think in.

What Is Applied Behavior Analysis?

ABA is the most thoroughly researched intervention for autism spectrum disorder. It is recognized by the American Psychological Association, the Surgeon General, and major insurance companies as an evidence-based treatment.

Janly Diaz, M.S., BCBA

Clinical Director

B.S. from Florida International University. M.S. & BCBA from Florida Institute of Technology. Janly leads all clinical programming at Step by Step Academy, overseeing treatment integrity, staff supervision, and family outcomes.

Our clinical team includes BCBAs and RBTs with specialized training in early intervention, verbal behavior, and naturalistic teaching.
